If you are planning to travel anytime from May 2011 until August 2011, visit the hotels website and enjoy up to 40% discount off their best available rates including breakfast. An additional perk of F&B vouchers will be given out to all Facebook members per room booking. The hotel chain has hotel properties covering the main destinations in Asia namely Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Seberang Jaya, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Hanoi and Zhongshan.
Book-In is all about making a quick and simple hotel room booking at affordable rates to accommodate the expectations of online users that room rates available on the internet are much lower compared to making a traditional phone reservation or by booking through local travel agents. Thus, this new campaign will spell for guests countless benefits, including savings that will come as a result of the more efficient booking processes and attractive offers. SIHR realizes that an average of six out of 10 hotel guests are making online reservations today so to gain and maintain the interest of these people, Book-In will be scheduled to happen twice a year, the first being first in May and the second in September 2011.
This campaign was created in line with the company's series of online marketing strategies from social networking in Facebook launched November last year and there after an online lucky draw called "Win A 3D Stay" which has rewarded a total of 32 winners in January this year. With the new campaign, guests also will benefit from more innovative sales and marketing offers in which product and service offerings tailored to guests' preferences, and better self-service facilities.
In support to this, a survey done last year has shown that there is an increase in online hotel reservations from 54% in 2009 to 58% in 2010. This means an average of six out of 10 hotel guests are making online reservations today.
